Men and Spiritual Disciplines - Softcover

This 10-Week Bible Study Helps Men Develop Spiritual Disciplines in Community

Christ not only saves us—he trains us. By his Spirit, he empowers us to pursue holiness, grow in obedience, and put sin to death as we participate in faithful discipleship. Our response to his goodness should not be passive, but rather a labor for the sake of becoming like the Savior. Are you following his ways with disciplined devotion?

This 10-week Bible study helps men develop 6 spiritual disciplines in community: Scripture reading, prayer, fellowship, generosity, holiness, and witness. Each lesson centers on a single topical Bible passage that participants are invited to read before gathering. Jon Nielson provides clear exposition; questions for personal reflection, group discussion, and practical application; and a concluding exhortation. Designed to be studied alongside brothers in the local church, this resource urges all men—busy fathers, students, new believers, and even seasoned saints—to break through spiritual lethargy and build God-centered habits.
