False Gospel of Progressivism - Softcover

Andrew Walker Helps Christians Confront the Counterfeit Religion of Progressivism with Biblical Truth

Progressivism is packaged as a political philosophy. When carefully understood, it has all the appearances of a religion. Promising justice, equality, and utopia, it teaches followers to look to the government, rather than God, for redemption. But time and again, this deceptively hopeful worldview leads cultures into moral chaos. Can Christians stop history from repeating itself and point their neighbors toward the true freedom and grounded hope of the gospel?

In this book, Andrew Walker examines centuries and decades of progressive influence in the West, demonstrating how this popular ideology undermines Christian principles of creation, judgment, and redemption. He thoughtfully breaks down 8 pillars of progressivism—including its key tenets, history, and implications—showing how these substitute doctrines stand in direct opposition to the gospel. Walker concludes by offering a more hopeful, Christ-centered political philosophy called ordered liberty, which encourages believers to redirect the mistaken ideals of progressivism toward true salvation found in Christ alone.
